about the name
You might be wondering how I named this newsletter. My handle on some other platforms contains nightingale, and I was inspired by Florence Nightingale, who was a heroic and pioneering nurse in the 1800s. Florence is also a lovely city that I’d like to visit someday, and my pseudonym on another publication.
To me the name evokes care, comfort, and craft, all things I hope to bring to you here.
